Well this recipe was ok. I'll give it 2.5 stars. Having it call for 4 tbsp of flour made it thicker than I would like (along with sticking to the roof of my mouth) although the taste was pretty good. The bread in this recipe made the burger very heavy! The flavor was not really a "BBQ" taste as much as a beefy "tomatoey" taste.

In my opinion, to make this recipe better (more like a 4.5 - 5 star) I would use the chopped onion and green pepper in the ground chuck, not use the bread at all and either serve it on a bun with BBQ sauce or bake it in the oven with BBQ sauce (instead of the tomato soup). This way you get that nice barbecue flavor!
